"I like to paint nostalgia in a tiny box". I grew up in Alpharetta, GA then moved away for 20 years. When I returned, I wanted to paint my old and new memories. As I drove around, I found some places had changed, some stayed the same and some were gone forever.....

I start with a memory, shrink it to an individual image 1"-2" in size, and paint on watercolor paper using acrylics and a tiny paint brush. I include a factual, historical note on the back of each image.

All prints are professionally printed on 5"x7" Moab Somerset paper, then put into an 8"x10" white mat with cardboard backing and a cellophane sleeve.
